Very disappointed with Tichi, especially because my mom has been a loyal customer here for a long time.

She recently had a new set of tires installed here. A few days later, she noticed rattling from the back while driving around 100 km/h, so she brought the car back for balancing and alignment. After picking it up, her A/C suddenly stopped working, and about 20 minutes later the car started smoking and severely overheating. She had to shut it off and get it towed.

What made the situation worse was how the shop treated her when she called. Instead of calmly offering to inspect the vehicle, they shouted at her, said it was not their fault, and basically told her it was no longer their problem.

Another mechanic later told her the overheating appeared to be related to the coolant system and that the coolant cap had not been properly secured. Her car had no overheating issues before this visit, which makes the timing extremely concerning.

We understand problems can happen, but the way a loyal customer was treated was completely unacceptable. After this experience, we have lost trust in this shop and will not be returning.
Very disappointed with Tichi after what happened to my mom’s car, especially since she has been a regular customer here for a long time.

She brought her car in to have a new set of tires changed. A few days later, she started hearing rattling from the back of the vehicle when driving around 100 km/h, so she brought it back to have the tires balanced and the alignment checked.

After picking up the car, she noticed that her A/C, which had been working perfectly fine before, suddenly stopped working. She continued driving for about 20 minutes, then left the car running while parked for only a couple of minutes. When she came back, the vehicle was smoking, the temperature gauge was extremely high, and the engine was overheating badly. She immediately shut it off and had to pay to get the car towed.

When she called Tichi to explain what happened, the response was extremely unprofessional. Instead of calmly listening to her concerns or offering to inspect the vehicle, they shouted at her, told her they only worked on the tires, and said it was not their problem.

She later brought the vehicle to another mechanic, who said the issue appeared to be related to the coolant system and that the coolant cap had not been properly secured, suggesting it may have been opened and not tightened correctly. Her previous oil change was about three months ago, and she had no overheating issues during that entire time. The problem only happened after leaving this shop, which makes the timing very concerning.

We are not claiming to know exactly what happened inside the shop, but the lack of concern, accountability, and basic customer service was unacceptable. A loyal customer almost had a serious engine problem and was left paying hundreds of dollars in towing and repairs, and instead of helping, she was yelled at and dismissed.

After this experience, our family has completely lost trust in this shop and will not be returning.
This shop completely lost our trust after how they handled my mom’s car.

She has been a loyal customer here for a long time and recently came in to have her tires changed. A few days later, she started hearing rattling from the back while driving around 100 km/h, so she returned for balancing and alignment.

After leaving the shop, her A/C stopped working, then not long after the vehicle began smoking and overheating. The temperature gauge was extremely high, so she immediately turned the car off and had to get it towed.

She called Tichi because all of this happened right after the vehicle had been there. Instead of simply saying they would take a look, they became defensive, shouted at her, and said it was not their problem.

The second mechanic she went to said the overheating appeared to be caused by a coolant issue and that the coolant cap was not properly secured. She had never experienced this problem before.

Mistakes can happen anywhere, but how a business responds matters. Yelling at a loyal customer who is dealing with a potentially serious engine problem instead of trying to help is extremely unprofessional. After this, we will never bring a vehicle here again.
