I was taken a back and very disappointed, after having my car 4 days, at the services department and 4 days later my ford fusion was giving up on me on the highway, with brake lights on only to stop and bit fluid oil so the light would go off drove straight to service. Car was there over night only to get a call that the issue was sorted out, and he owned up it was their issue the person who was working on it didn’t fix it well, he said they replaced a new part and no payment coz it’s all their fault. This was serious issue and it put me in dangers car with brake issues. Trusted them wth my car only to risk my life. Never again.

Insanely inflated charges.
Made an appointment to check the radio in my truck- everything else works but radio is just static. According to the invoice and my follow up call, they popped off a panel, tested the acm unit and came to the conclusion that the entire thing had to be replaced (again, screen, Bluetooth, cd, Sirius all work, but ok) for $1500+... So no actual repairs (fine) but charged me $350 to let me know that.

UPDATE: I have called twice since the "response from the owner" was posted below and left detailed messages, including the name the appointment was under, with no call-back. My review, experience with, and opinion of, the service department remains unchanged.

(Additional note: our truck is a Ford that we purchased brand-new off the lot from this location- and is the second brand-new vehicle we have purchased here. We will not be doing business here again)

Have had this issue a few times with them trying to give me the run around on what is covered under their Extended Premium Care Plan. They will only reimburse you if it's covered under the plan, which is fair. If it isn't covered they will charge you for the diagnostic. Also fair.

It's a speaker that literally is blown and sounds like muffled junk anytime voices go through it. SPEAKER FAILURE.

My issue is (and this is not the same across every dealer), when asked what is covered they said it depends on the situation (not true). Some parts are covered, some aren't (true). It fell apart when I asked if I could get an idea of what parts are covered for my particular plan, and they said they don't know what parts unless they do a diagnostic. I said but generally you know what is covered and what isn't...the answer they said was NO. But they do know if they diagnose it. To which my simple answer was if you know what parts are covered after you look at it, you know what is covered so you know what to look for....I know they know this but noone was willing to just say hey...speakers are covered under your plan...or at the very least...this IS NOT covered under this circumstance.

Her answer in a frustrated tone, was to throw up her hands at me, and describe how "we don't really have an answer for you." This does not produce confidence in me to bring my vehicle in for warranty work that I assume should be covered under most circumstances, but highlights it doesn't seem like they really want to work with me to help me make a decision on whether or not I get the work done. WHICH IS THE EXACT OPPOSITE OF WHAT THE PREMIUM PLUS IS SUPPOSE TO FEEL LIKE. Take it in and pretty much most stuff is covered.

I had to ask them not to look at my SPEAKER (which is covered) because I don't trust that they are looking out for me and will charge me for the diagnosis if they don't cover it...which they have no general idea of what is covered (this is not a tech, tech could probably tell me easily). All I was looking for was that they cover speakers in the package (which it states right in the plan), but they refused to tell me what parts were covered...because they don't know. Confidence here is what I am looking for, I should have to dig into my documents to fight with a dealer and advocate for what is covered and what isn't.

Very displeased because they are essentially saying it's a risk to get it checked out, as opposed to just telling me what is covered. So I can evaluate that risk for myself. They didn't want to take the time to take care of the customer (me).

Just overall not extremely happy.

Luckily I can trust them to do my maintenance package which they do know what is covered and what isn't. Funny how that works.

EDIT: Booked in again. Showed up. Their online system doesn't work and allows people to book but doesn't actually book them a spot. They are aware of the issue, but essentially will do nothing for you and the advice given was to do it old school and call in to confirm since they won't shut down the online booking system because head office thinks there is no problem.

I'm not entirely sure what to believe, but the issue if it is as described (the online booking system is faulty), I'm left booking a morning at work at my cost and with nothing but a...it's your problem not ours. OK thanks.

I just wish that when you go through these issues you aren't left holding the bag and customer service actually occurs. I now have to go through another further away dealer because I'm the idiot who went back to a place that always has issues.

I took my electric vehicle to City Ford for recall work and I asked of they could also take a look at the charging cord because it recently stopped working. I've already bought a replacement after market charger and was wondering if the original could be repaired. I was not given an estimate for looking at the charger. When I came to pick up my vehicle, I was charged $239.94 for looking at the charging cord and confirming it was not working. The new after market charger cost me $188.00 (with GST). The new brand name Ford charger is $500. If they gave me an estimate that "looking at my charger cord" would cost me more than what I paid for the after market part, I would never have asked them to look at it. If servicing a part costs 50% of the new one (in this case it was ~120%) the service dept. should let the customer know and allow them to make an informed decision and an opportunity to opt out of the service. This is not an ethical way of conducting business.

Absolutely garbage service. My mind is blown as to how this place operates, $398.00 to take my truck for a test drive. Had idle issues. Call me to say everything is running fine, pick it up, within 1 minute of starting it, idle issues are there. They did nothing and took my money. Complete scam.
