Back in May of 2025 we had some seals replaced in the motor of our 2011 F350. After we took it from the shop we drove to a camping spot and that’s when the truck completely stopped. I got out there was fuel, and transmission fluid everywhere. Wires were pulled from every direction into the drive shaft. Numerous times we went back trying to pick up the truck. We would make it down around the street and come back. The manual would work, a/c wasn’t recharged, fuel relay switch got wet in the car wash and became disconnected. The truck had electrical tape throughout it hold wirings together. They weren’t able to locate us a brand new main wring harness so they rigged it together the best they could. The trailer brake module wouldn’t work, anytime we picked it up and we assume it is from the main wiring harness not being connected properly. I called Ford Canada to report this and they suggested I bring the truck to Kosh Ford. After that we talked to Kris, in October he agreed the truck should be given back to us as when it left us. We brought up we want a new harness, they agreed. No updates in December or January. I call and the journeyman mechanic says to me, I’m working on the truck in my down hours. This truck should have been priority. We were still paying insurance on it and it had been there since July. So finally after numerous conversations and emails to the GM they agreed to pay out a settlement. Not a great settlement. There is just no way after those wires were torn out the truck would have ever been the same. Be cautious when sending vehicles to the diesel shop. One positive I want to say is Phil, the service advisor was great to work with he brought empathy, and remain professional throughout the situation until it went to upper management.

Unfortunate to experience something like this when you are getting your vehicle worked on by Ford mechanics. These guys definetly left wires hanging which could have been a lot worse, if we would have been on the highway with our holiday trailer on the back. Not a great experience!
I had an excellent experience once again with Team Ford! I had a few recalls on my 2023 Escape, one being my block heater that I could not use last winter. While making my appointment the lady from Service offered me a great option. They would come pick up my vehicle and get it back to my house once the work was completed. She offered this service to me not even knowing I had torn my wrist quite badly. Thanks again to everyone at Team Ford, especially the young lady from Service.
