Just picked up my Nissan Titan from August Garage after an upgrade to an AFE Momentum GT air intake. A prior excellent experience with a lift / suspension upgrade and a recent very attentive general maintenance service, made it an easy decision to once engage August Garage for the newest upgrade. Excellent research and advice, flawless / clean, and professional installation. I am very pleased with the results and most importantly, the service experience with all of the staff and the technicians. Through my lens - the place to bring your vehicle, may it be for maintenance or upgrades.

I’m a new resident of Kelowna and was keen on finding a shop to get my Camaro 1LE in better working order. The gents at August took excellent care of me and my car, pointing out a couple safety concerns and letting me know when some work wasn’t required and wouldn’t improve the car. I was very much appreciative of their service and am looking forward to a continued relationship.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐<br><br>I cannot say enough good things about my experience with August Garage.<br><br>I am participating in the Going to the Sun Rally in a 1969 Alfa Romeo Spider 1750 and developed a very substantial and difficult-to-diagnose external oil leak while passing through Kelowna.<br><br>We found August Garage essentially by chance. I arrived at approximately 3:30 in the afternoon with no meaningful appointment, driving a 57-year-old Italian car with a complicated history and a problem that several people had already looked at.<br><br>Despite being busy and nearing the end of their day, Bryce came over, listened carefully to what the car had been doing, got underneath it, started tracing the oil and immediately began approaching the problem methodically rather than jumping to the most expensive possible conclusion.<br><br>The shop itself is remarkable. They work on everything from European classics to Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Porsches, Lotus and some truly extraordinary specialty cars, yet they treated my old Alfa with exactly the same level of interest and respect.<br><br>What impressed me even more happened the next morning.<br><br>I brought the Alfa back at 7:00 AM specifically so the engine could cool before they opened and Bryce could inspect it. To my complete surprise, Bryce was already there working and ready to continue helping me.<br><br>That says a lot.<br><br>He identified movement in the dipstick tube that others had missed, tightened it and materially reduced one aspect of the oil problem. He then carefully traced another possible leak to the old mechanical tachometer/rev-counter drive, removed the fitting, discovered a questionable old paper sealing arrangement, resealed it, and continued checking other known Alfa leak points rather than simply declaring that a 57-year-old engine needed to be rebuilt.<br><br>This is exactly what I want from someone working on a classic car: curiosity, judgment, patience and an understanding that diagnosis should come before expensive conclusions.<br><br>I have owned and driven unusual cars for decades and have dealt with many specialty shops. August Garage is one of those rare places where you immediately get the feeling that the people working there genuinely love cars and enjoy solving problems.<br><br>Whether this particular Alfa ultimately needs minor gasket work or major engine work, I would be completely comfortable leaving the car with this team and telling them to properly sort it out.<br><br>Bryce and everyone at August Garage turned what could have been a miserable rally-ending experience into one of the best examples I have encountered of the automotive community taking care of a fellow enthusiast.<br><br>If you have a classic, European, exotic or simply interesting car in the Kelowna area, this is a shop I would recommend without hesitation.
