After ignoring some unusual sounds, smells, and general vehicle issues for a little longer than I should have, my dashboard finally flashed a “check engine” light and I brought my car to RPM last Monday.<br><br>I was greeted by Alex with a smile and a welcoming demeanor. I explained my concerns—somewhat sheepishly—and was reassured they would take a look and let me know what the issue (or, let’s be honest, issues) were. I had been a customer before, so I already felt confident my car was in good hands.<br><br>A few hours later, Alex called with an update. She started by asking how my day was going. I joked that it was probably going better before her call. She laughed and immediately reassured me that things weren’t as bad as I feared, which instantly eased that sinking feeling in my stomach.<br><br>Alex clearly explained what was causing my car to “clunk,” “smell funny,” and “feel weird” (my words, not hers), provided a detailed quote including tax, and gave me a clear timeline for pickup. During the 24-point inspection, she also flagged a future repair and gave me the option to take care of it now or later—no pressure.<br><br>What really stood out was how she communicated everything in a way that was easy to understand for someone who isn’t well-versed in automotive issues.<br><br>She even followed up later to say something didn’t quite sit right based on my original description, so she had another technician take a second look. That level of care and attention is rare.<br><br>It takes a special skill to translate a customer’s vague, part-sound-effect, part-pantomime description into an accurate diagnostic report, and Alex absolutely has that skill. Every company should have an Alex.<br><br>Great work from the entire team at RPM. Thank you!

RPM's staff & skilled mechanics truly give meaning to the word TRUST! Just having moved to BC, my car's under plate/shield had slightly fallen and would soon start dragging if left unattended. Being new to Kelowna not knowing ANYONE much less an auto repair business, I was driving to another errand when I saw RPM's sign and two or three Police Cars waiting their turn to be repaired or just regular maintenance. Wow! Who wouldn't trust an auto repair shop with City Police vehicles being attended to? So I stopped by. RPM's understanding team member set up an appointment for me. When I dropped off my car, I had asked about the closest coffee shop, as I was prepared for a long wait. A team member told me the location and that they'd probably be done after I purchased the coffee & headed back (walking of course!). I just knew I'd be settling in at the coffee shop and have a good long wait as caffeine would course through my blood stream, helping to ratchet up the anxiety about the cost and if any parts would need to be ordered! No sooner did I sit down with my cappuccino when I was phoned by RPM as my car was ready to go!!! I could hardly believe it!<br>As I walked back to RPM's front office, I was greeted with a big smile, my key fobs and the words "ready to go". Wait! Where's the bill? Or, what about parts to be ordered? No such thing. I was reassured all was well, my car's under shield was re-affixed and I did NOT owe anything as the mechanics time involved was short.<br>I've owned many cars over the years and dealt with many different auto maintenance businesses within many different Provinces & countries, some I wish I never trusted. That is NOT my story with RPM in Kelowna. They totally earned my trust. As I looked under my car and saw the repair, I felt confident in the professional workmanship and standard of care provided by RPM. THANK YOU RPM! Of all the tasks involved in moving to another Province, finding a trustworthy and professional mechanic is now a box I can check off on my very long "to do" list.

5 star service even if my issue was small, it was done in a timely manner, great smiles and friendly staff.

People are nice here. My only concern is the price, but I guess this is the case with all mechanics here in Kelowna
