Kelly Auto Glass 2015 Ltd

Very disappointing experience with this business. A call was made to Ted Kelly Auto Glass on July 17 to inquire about a sunroof repair. No inspection was done, no discussion of safety concerns, and no confirmation of repair details or authorization was provided.

There was no contact from the shop until July 22, when a voicemail was left stating that the sunroof part had arrived and they were ready to do the repair — despite the fact that no work had been approved. Had they actually looked at the vehicle, they would have known that both the visor and glass needed to be replaced, not just the sunroof glass.

In the meantime, another local shop had been contacted on July 18. That shop responded immediately, took the vehicle in on their lunch break, cleaned up the broken glass, inspected the damage, and professionally sealed off the roof for safety — all before booking the repair. That’s what real customer service looks like.

Ted Kelly Auto Glass, on the other hand, ordered parts without permission, then began calling repeatedly — including from a blocked number — attempting to pressure the customer into proceeding with a repair they never authorized. The owner even falsely claimed that verbal permission had been given over the phone, which was not true.

This kind of behavior — skipping steps, making assumptions, and trying to guilt-trip someone into paying for unauthorized work — is unprofessional and unacceptable. Based on this experience, I would not recommend Ted Kelly Auto Glass to anyone. Go to a business that communicates clearly, respects consent, and puts safety first.
