“I called in today to run my Civic over after work and was in an out in about half hour. They showed me the problem and the fix, and even took care of another issue for me. Definitely recommend and very grateful. Great, fast service and very reasonably priced.”

“Brought my Stinger MBRP catback to GT and they welded the whole thing for me.

I had them extend all four pipes to look exactly like the OEM exaust did in the bezels, which also cut drone.

Perfect job done quickly and at a very good price. Stinger guys reading this who went with Borla or MBRP, bring your car here and have them weld it up and extend your pipes. You will no be disappointed.”

Exhaust System Tips

Have your exhaust system visually inspected at every oil change
If you smell exhaust fumes inside the cabin, get it fixed immediately—carbon monoxide is deadly
Address small rust spots before they become expensive full-section replacements
A rattling heat shield is an easy, inexpensive fix—don't ignore it
Keep your engine running properly to protect the catalytic converter from premature failure
Application of undercoating can help protect exhaust components from salt corrosion

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a catalytic converter replacement cost in Pickering? +
OEM catalytic converters range from $1,000-$3,000+ depending on the vehicle. Aftermarket units can cost $500-$1,500. The high precious metal content (platinum, palladium, rhodium) drives the cost.
Can I drive with a broken exhaust? +
While the vehicle may still run, driving with an exhaust leak is dangerous due to carbon monoxide exposure and may cause you to fail emissions testing. It should be repaired promptly.
How long does a muffler last? +
Mufflers in regions with harsh winters and heavy road salt typically last 5-8 years. In milder climates, stainless-steel mufflers can last the life of the vehicle.
Why is my catalytic converter failing? +
Common causes include engine misfires (unburnt fuel overheating it), excessive oil consumption, coolant leaks into combustion, or simply age and high mileage. Fixing the root engine issue prevents repeat failure.
