I was interested in having some work done on my 97' Camry, and signed off for about $2500 of repairs.
Later the same day, I realized that probably wasn't a good idea.
I asked if it might be possible to cancel the repairs and they said yes. They had already placed orders for parts for the repairs, and said they would return the parts.
I'm definitely not looking to encourage people to break commitments made, and it wasn't my intention going in, but I'm grateful for their willingness to let me off the hook, and will aim to work with them in the future.
