The guys at Bassi had it rebuilt and were even kind enough to pass me on some savings when replacing the transmission lines. They are quite busy, but they still took it in and fixed it fairly quickly all things considered. I believe they had it back to me in just over 10 business days.

The truck had been rebuilt a number of years back by a larger chain transmission shop (and repaired again a year later), and the guys had pointed out there were some evidence of shortcuts that may have resulted in the transmission breaking prematurely. I am more confident that it should last longer this time, and comparatively they were cheaper than the chain shop too.
