Because of that, I felt it’s my duty to share this with you.
I took the car to the Audi dealer and they explained the problem: when the battery is replaced with an aftermarket one on a 2024 Q3, the car needs battery coding using their diagnostic tool. Without this coding, the ECU gets confused and shows steering angle sensor error plus all the driver assist warnings.
They did the battery coding and reset the steering angle sensor, and now everything is working perfectly.
Just wanted you to have this information for the next time you see the same issue.
